By downloading or using the NFC Check mobile application (the "App"), these terms will automatically apply to you – you should make sure therefore that you read them carefully before using the App.
1. License and Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on a device owned or controlled by you.
You are not allowed to:
- Attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Translate the App into other languages or make derivative versions.
- Copy or modify the App, or any part of the App, or our trademarks in any way.
2. Intellectual Property
The App itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to the developer (Joeri Kros).
3. Changes to the App
We are committed to ensuring that the App is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the App or to charge for its services, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the App or its services without making it very clear to you exactly what you’re paying for.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that declare their own Terms and Conditions. By using this App, you also agree to the terms of:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob
- Google Analytics for Firebase
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the NFC detection will be 100% accurate for every device model or hardware configuration. We cannot take responsibility for the App not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi or mobile data (for ads and analytics) or if your device does not have NFC hardware.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App.
7. Termination
We may terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms shall end.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
